Social Issue

Social stratification refers to a society’s categorization of its people into rankings of socioeconomic tiers based on factors like wealth, income, race, education, and power.



All societies face the economic problem, which is the problem of how to make the best use of limited, or scarce, resources. The economic problem exists because, although the needs and wants of people are endless, the resources available to satisfy needs and wants are limited.
Social disorganization refers to the failure of institutional bodies, the disintegration of bonds and controls that make social equilibrium or not.



Public Health is a medical specialty that depends on the state and focuses, on the one hand, on the exercise and maintenance of the health of the population that corresponds to that state, with prevention tasks, and on the other hand, in the control of diseases and the deployment of a special work aimed at eradicating them. The final accounts, public health must take into account the health of its population but also actions that eliminate the diseases and conditions that cause mortality in the general population.

Social inequality: Social inequality refers to the ways in which socially-defined categories of persons (according to characteristics such as gender, age, ‘class’ and ethnicity) are differentially positioned with regard to access to a variety of social ‘goods’, such as the labour market and other sources of income, the education and healthcare systems, and forms of political representation and participation

Education and public schools: in the UK, one of a relatively small group of institutions educating secondary-level students for a fee and independent of the state system as regards both endowment and administration.

Work and occupations: Inequality in jobs, by race, gender, etc.

Environmental racism: Racial discrimination in the development and implementation of environmental policy, especially as manifested in the concentration of hazardous waste disposal sites in or near areas with a relatively large ethnic minority population.

Abortion debate: The abortion debate asks whether it can be morally right to terminate a pregnancy before normal childbirth.

Some people think that abortion is always wrong. Some think that abortion is right when the mother's life is at risk. Others think that there is a range of circumstances in which abortion is morally acceptable.
